Welcome to App41, a video streaming and marketplace platform operated by VAJIRA TRADING CO., LTD. (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Cambodia. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our app and services, primarily in Cambodia.

By using App41, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our app.

1Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and other details you provide during registration.
• User Content: We collect the videos, comments, likes, shares, and other content you upload or interact with on the app.
• Marketplace Information: If you sell or buy products on our Marketplace, we collect information such as product listings, descriptions, prices, and transaction details.
• Profile Information: You may provide additional details such as a profile picture, bio, or other personal information to customize your profile.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access App41, including the device model, operating system, IP address, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage Data: We collect data about how you use the app, such as the videos you watch, the features you interact with (likes, shares, comments), and the time and duration of your activities.
• Location Data: With your permission, we may collect your location to provide location-based features, such as showing nearby Marketplace listings.
• Camera and Microphone Access: If you upload videos, we access your camera and microphone with your permission to enable video recording and streaming.
• Storage Access: We may access your device’s storage to allow you to upload videos, photos, or other content.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• We may receive information about you from third-party services, such as social media platforms, if you choose to log in or connect your account using those services (e.g., Google or Facebook login).

2How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To Provide and Improve Our Services:
  • To enable you to upload, watch, like, share, and comment on videos.
  • To facilitate buying and selling on the Marketplace.
  • To personalize your experience by recommending videos or products based on your interests and activity.
• To Communicate with You:
  • To send you notifications about new comments, likes, or Marketplace transactions.
  • To respond to your inquiries or provide customer support.
• To Ensure Safety and Security:
  • To monitor and prevent fraudulent activity, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
  • To verify your identity and protect your account.
• To Analyze and Improve the App:
  • To understand how users interact with App41 and improve our features and performance.
• To Comply with Legal Obligations:
  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations in Cambodia and other jurisdictions where we operate.

3How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With Other Users:
  • Your public profile, videos, comments, and Marketplace listings are visible to other users of App41.
  • If you like, share, or comment on a video, other users may see your activity.
• With Service Providers:
  • We may share your information with third-party service providers who help us operate the app, such as cloud storage providers (e.g., Cloudinary, as used in our app), payment processors, or analytics providers. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
• For Legal Reasons:
  • We may share your information if required by law, such as to comply with a court order, legal process, or government request.
  • We may also share information to protect the rights, safety, or property of App41, our users, or the public.
• In Case of Business Transfers:
  • If App41 is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4Your Choices and Rights

You have certain rights and choices regarding your personal information:

• Access and Update Your Information:
  • You can access and update your account information (e.g., name, email, profile picture) directly in the app.
• Delete Your Account:
  • You can request to delete your account by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal information, except for data we are required to retain for legal or operational purposes.
• Opt-Out of Notifications:
  • You can manage notification settings in the app or on your device to opt out of certain notifications.
• Location and Permissions:
  • You can disable access to your location, camera, microphone, or storage through your device settings. However, this may limit some features of the app.

5Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These measures include:

• Using secure servers and encryption to store your data.
• Limiting access to your information to authorized personnel only.
• Regularly monitoring our systems for potential vulnerabilities.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. For example:

• Account information is retained as long as your account is active.
• Videos and Marketplace listings are retained until you delete them or your account is closed.
• We may retain certain data (e.g., transaction records) for legal or auditing purposes even after your account is deleted.

7Children’s Privacy

App41 is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it. 8International Data Transfers

App41 operates primarily in Cambodia, but we may store or process your data in other countries, such as through third-party service providers (e.g., Cloudinary). By using our app, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside Cambodia, which may have different data protection laws.

App41 may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., payment processors or social media platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

10Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the app or sending you a notification. Your continued use of App41 after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Updates effective October 18, 2026

These updates add to the policy above. Where they differ, these updates apply.

Ways to sign in

• Telegram: we receive your Telegram user ID, name, username and profile photo. If you choose to share your phone number in our Telegram bot, we also receive that number.
• Apple: we receive your Apple user ID and the name and email that Apple shares with us. Apple may give us a private relay email instead of your real one.
• Google: we receive your Google account ID, name, email address and profile photo.
• Phone number, username or email with a password: your password is stored only as a one-way encrypted hash. We can never read it.

Verification codes

• We send one-time codes only through Telegram or email. We do not send codes by SMS.
• Never share a code with anyone. App41 staff will never ask for it.

Purchases on iPhone

• Stars are bought on iPhone through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles the payment; we never receive your card or bank details. We receive the transaction ID, product, price, currency and country from Apple to add the Stars to your account and to handle refunds.

Reports and blocks

• When you report a post, comment, profile or chat, we store the report, the reason you chose and a reference to the content so our team can review it. The person you report is not told who reported them. When you block someone, we store the block so their content is hidden from you.

Service providers we use

• Supabase (database and sign-in), DigitalOcean (servers and file storage), Cloudflare (network security and email delivery), Telegram (sign-in and messages), Apple and Google (sign-in and push notifications) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications). This list replaces the earlier example of Cloudinary.

Deleting your account

• In the app, open your Profile, tap the ⋮ menu and choose Delete account. You can also email [email protected] from the email linked to your account.
• Your account is first scheduled for deletion. If you sign in again during the waiting period shown in the app, you can restore it. After that, your profile, content and sign-in methods are removed.
• Financial records such as wallet transactions, orders and payments are kept for the period required by law, with your identity removed.
• If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke App41's access to your Apple ID.
